KM-OPV74 is a 1000-ton platform designed for deploying small surface and aerial vehicles for an increased coverage and rapid intervention. Its large weatherdeck may be configured for alternative small boats and unmanned surface vessels and containerized modular systems/capabilites. A medium size flight deck and a small hangar allow integration of various unmanned aerial vehicle types. The ship is a perfect SAR platform with its rescue decks close to waterline and accommodations for 20 survivors. It has a hull form with superior seakeeping performance, that enables operations at higher sea states.
